Shipping & Returns
Midwest-Oufitters.com is committed to being your one stop weapons resource nationwide. With this in mind, we encourage everyone to read our policies on Shipping and Returns before purchasing from our online store. All local, state, and federal regulations apply.
Shipping Firearms
The transfer of ownership on any firearm will only be to individuals or agencies that possess a valid Federal Firearm License. At the customer’s request, Midwest Outfitters will transfer purchased firearms to a gun dealer of their choice.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to;
· Contact your local FFL dealer.
· Complete all required paperwork when you pick up your purchase from your local dealer.
· Pay any transfer fees required by your local dealer.
Transfer fees are between the buyer and their local FFL dealer. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check with their local FFL dealer concerning any policy regarding transfer fees and the buyer’s obligation. Transfer fees are not payed to Midwest Outfitters unless we are transferring in a firearm for one of our customers from out of state. By Purchasing a firearm from us you acknowledge that it is your obligation to pay any transfer fee your FFL dealer may require.
Firearms will ship within 5 business days of receiving payment and a copy of your dealers FFL. Non Firearms orders can ship within 3 days after payment is received. Shipping charges are for standard shipping only. If the purchaser requires expedited shipping, you must contact us for a quote. Shipping insurance is also available. Midwest Outfitters will not be liable for uninsured items lost or damaged in transit shipping company.
Shipping Ammunition
When shipping ammunition all local, state and federal regulations apply. If there is a Hazardous Materials charge – that would fall under the responsibility of the buyer.
Hawaii & Alaska Orders
Orders to Hawaii and Alaska are subject to higher shipping costs. Please contact us prior to placing your order.
Restricted State Sales Policies
· California – No Hi capacity magazines without permit. No defense/clip fed shotguns. No semi-auto rifles. No M-16/AR15 bolts. Los Angeles, Sacramento & San Francisco, CA – No Ammunition without FFL.
· Connecticut – No semi-auto rifles.
· Hawaii – No handgun magazines with capacities over 10 rounds.
· Illinois – No ammunition without FFL.
· Maryland – *Now shipping Guns
· Massachusetts – No handguns. No hi capacity magazines. No defense/clip fed shotguns. No semi-auto rifles. No ammunition.
· New Jersey – No magazines over 15 rounds without FFL.
· New York - *Shipping legal to upper NY State. No shipping to NYC.
· Washington DC – No hi capacity magazines. No ammunition.
· Washington State – No M-16/AR15 bolts
Shipping to New York State:
We ship all NY Legal firearms so select counties in upper New York State. If your billing address is located in any of the following counties, you are not eligible to purchase firearms from Midwest Outfitters.

In Store Pickup
Local pickup at our location is available. We are available by appointment only. Please call ahead to make sure your order has arrived and schedules your pickup.
State sales tax is charged on local purchases both through the website and in store.
If you are not a legal KS resident, handguns may not be picked up in our store. Rifles and shotguns may be transferred to you directly.
Returns
Returns are only accepted for merchandise found defective immediately upon receipt. Midwest Outfitters will provide a replacement item (pending availability) or full refund on all firearms and accessories found defective upon receipt. For your added convenience, Midwest Outfitters will also arrange for the defective items to be picked up and returned to us by the original shipper.
*Please take the time to inspect all firearms thoroughly before proceeding with transfer. Once a new firearm is transferred to you it is considered used, even if unfired. Midwest Outfitters will not provide full refunds for firearms once they are transferred into the purchaser’s possession. Midwest Outfitters will not reimburse FFL transfer fees on returned items. Manufacturing defects found after transfer to purchaser shall be directed to the manufacturer. Items returned to Midwest Outfitters will incur a 15% restocking fee. Shipping fees, credit card transaction fees will not be credited to your account. Restocking fee is based on purchase price of item(s) returned. Special order items and ammunition cannot be returned. All returned products must be brand new, factory sealed resalable condition.
Request for returns must be made within 15 days of purchase. All requests for returns after 15 days will not be honored.
